It’s the second month of the Business School rank, and Harvard Business School remain in the top spot.
As well as sitting within the top ten Business School profiles on Facebook, YouTube and Google+, HBS scored a perfect 100/100 on Instagram. Their top performing post on the photo-sharing platform was the top post overall, across all platforms, for Business Schools this month. The picturesque post, which features three MBA students building a snowman on campus against a sunset backdrop, is not only visually striking (a must for Instagram) but also shares a glimpse of life at the University. The use of their own hashtag #lifeathbs helps students and prospects alike to see what’s going on on campus.
Similarly, their top performing post on Facebook shared also shared a glimpse into a day in the life of a Harvard Business School student. The post used a student’s photo of Sir Alex Ferguson who had delivered a lecture on leadership, alongside an inspiring quote.
One of the biggest climbers in the February Business School Rank was Loughborough University School of Business and Economics, who, with a 100/100 score for Facebook, have moved up 65 placed to just nudge their way into the top ten. This impressive climb up the ranks is down to a staggering improvement on their engagement levels on Facebook: in January, their average engagement per post was just 2; in February this was increased to a whopping 403.7. The promotion of Loughborough’s International Summer School for scholarships assisted in this increase in engagements and was the third most popular Facebook post for Business Schools this month.
