We’re already coming to the end of 2019’s halfway mark (time flies when you’re having fun) and so, we thought it’d be the perfect opportunity to take stock and have a look as to which universities are the biggest jumpers this month and who is unstoppable when it comes to climbing the charts.
Here are the biggest movers in the Edurank charts last month… And, here’s to another six months of game-changing social media!
Royal Conservatoire of Scotland – Jumped 33 places
The Royal Conservatoire landed the impressive position of fourth this month, having jumped 33 places as a result of their perfect twitter scoring. They took to Twitter to share with their 21,000 followers their student’s talents and university’s activities. This was a fantastic way to showcase what potential students have the potential to be involved with and what the faculties and courses have to offer, all while celebrating the fantastic performance of existing students. The institution could have capitalised on this further and created a hashtag, enabling similar tweets and user-generated content to be grouped together and easily searchable.
Bath Spa University – Climbed an astounding 163 places
May was evidently a busy month for Bath Spa University and we think it’s fair to say, the hard work paid off. The University finished 13th place after climbing 163 places. Their Meet the Team youtube series certainly went a long way in scoring perfectly for their Youtube efforts. Bath Spa went behind the scenes of their Psychology Centre for Health and Cognition and shined a light the hard-working team, humanising the faculty and work done within the centre. This series allows existing and prospective students to get to know the staff more intimately and injects personality, making the choice to go to Bath Spa that much easier.
Royal Academy of Dance – Jumped 20 places
The Royal Academy of Dance was another big player that did considerably last month, scoring highly in both Instagram and Facebook, jumping 20 places. With over 80,000 followers on their Instagram and the bio “We connect & inspire. From studio to stage, through community & creativity, we teach the world to #dance & share it with you”, and that’s exactly what their posts are. Pushing snaps of their dedicated dancers, sincere moments and optimising #TutuTuesday, their passion for education and dance ooze through the screens. Majority of their Instagrams boost a cool 3,000 likes and it goes to show, authenticity and real moments are what people can’t get enough of.
