Here are the institutions that smashed it on social media this month:
Cherwell College Oxford has jumped 305 places this month.
July was a busy month for Cherwell College Oxford. It has made impressive progress through the ranks and secured in fourth place after climbing 305 places through a perfect Facebook scoring. Their Facebook post for July aimed to promote two different exciting 1-3 week courses that are available between August and September. The post reached a large group of audience and created high levels of engagement—with 14,000 likes generated—which needless to say, was a successful awareness campaign for its summer courses
St Mary’s University, Twickenham leapt ahead of the ranks by 147 places.
St Mary’s University, Twickenham, also had an exciting and busy month as they strive to increase brand awareness to attract more Clearing applicants. Thanks to the Clearing 2019 at St Mary’s University video, St Mary’s University attain a perfect YouTube scoring. As a result, it pushed their ranking ahead by 147 places and finished at 8th place. Their efforts certainly paid off as the video generated over 700,000 views, a considerably high number considering the video was only published on the 23rd of July. The footage demonstrated prominent statistics—such as “93% of our graduates employed or in further study within 6 months”—gathered from various dependable sources, such as HESA and The Good University Guide 2019, highlighting the University’s reliability.
Aberystwyth University climbed 90 places.
July is often a busy month for higher education institutions, with Clearing and all. But Aberystwyth University took it in their stride, rising through the July ranks and obtaining a near-perfect YouTube score. And their effort to promote awareness to increase applicant enrollment was not overlooked as they landed 4th place for the month. Through their Clearing and Adjustment at Aberystwyth University YouTube footage, AU promoted their academic quality and emphasised their student satisfaction, showcasing the positive and supportive learning environment that’s offered while attending AU. By tailoring their social media content to what students may be worrying about around the time of Clearing, their messaging really resonated with their audience.
