The Independent School Rank for June, saw some big climbers. Waltamstow Hall jumped from 73rd to 34th in the rankings; their top performing post coming from Facebook outlining the success of their Junior School’s relay team. The post generated an impressive 43 ‘likes.’ These types of posts work well for Independent Schools, because they need to make sure they are appealing to the parents, more so than the students. Highlighting the success of the school provides inspiration for potential parents; who are perhaps looking for a suitable school for their children, via social media.

It was a similar situation for The Mount School, who have climbed an impressive 30 places to number 33 in the EduRank charts. They have shared a photo of students passing their drama exams, where they have included the Twitter handle of the drama institution within the tweet. This is always a good technique to boost engagement as LAMDA would receive a notification and may retweet the content from their own account.

Once again, The Maynard School have held onto the top spot for the third consecutive month, with solid performances across Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. The School have jumped on the popular #ThrowbackThursday hashtag to share images of what The Maynard School was like years ago. This paints a great picture of the School’s historic tradition, which parents, pupils, alumni and staff can all engage with.
