US Edurank just got bigger…

The Edurank team have added over 3,000 Higher Education institutions to the US rank. Our team will be crunching over two billion pieces of data each month to bring you the largest social benchmarking tool for the education sector.

Until now, we only included the top five institutions from each state; but, after receiving excellent feedback from education marketers who find the tool really valuable, we thought it was only fair to roll out this free service to more colleges and universities.

As well as being a benchmarking tool, Edurank provides bespoke insights and data, which are totally unique to your institution. There is also the ‘Top Posts’ feature, which displays the best performing content across the various social media platforms. This intelligence is ideal for making quality decisions for your social media content plan.

With even more universities and colleges competing for the top spot in the rankings, your institution needs to be doing all it can on social media to secure a good position each month. It’s time to get those competitive juices flowing.

How has Edurank evolved?

Edurank has changed significantly over the past seven years since launching as a distributed spreadsheet format back in 2010, known then as the Education and Engagement Index. The service underwent a full re-brand in 2014 and became Edurank, measuring digital activity across Facebook and Twitter. In November 2015 the system was re-branded again, this time including additional benchmarking data for platforms such as: Instagram, Google+, YouTube, and search. Today, with even more exciting updates, Edurank is getting smarter and is a vital tool for any institution’s marketing department.
