Now that summer’s gone and more pumpkin-flavored food and beverages and Halloween goodies begin to flood our newsfeed, it’s safe to say we’re getting close to the end of the year. Whether you’re in admissions, marketing or any other team, we thought it would be a great idea to check out which U.S. universities are ascending the charts in the month of September.

University of Iowa landed number one on the ranks

There’s no holding back when it comes to the University of Iowa as they secured the number one spot on the ladder of ranks. Their success can be arguably traced back to their Facebook posts, as they transformed their Facebook page into a central content and community hub. Other than showcasing the stunning foliage on their beautiful campus, many of its posts are attributed to Hawkeyes, their famous college football team that’s been dominating all its rivals. As fans pour in and flood their wall to celebrate the team’s success, the bond of the community simultaneously grows stronger. A huge well done to the University of Iowa.

Purdue University – Climbed 287 places

Purdue University finished 27th place after climbed 287 places this month. They published 13 videos that covered various topics to promote their curriculums. Their nursing degree video generated 1.7 million views—the highest of them all—which helped them secured a perfect YouTube score. Their career-focused programs are designed to provide students the opportunity to excel in their respective fields after graduation—a great way to help students successfully enter the workforce.

Texas Wesleyan University – jumped 2,179 places

Another university that did a fantastic in the rank this month is Texas Wesleyan University who jumped a whopping 2,179 places and landed at 62nd place. One of the top-performing videos generated over 200,000 views, which contributed to TWU’s success on the ladder of ranks. The video aims to promote their generous scholarship programs in which offer students the opportunity to be of an elite private institution at an affordable rate. Big scholarships, small classes, and expert professors, students are getting more than just a degree.
